University will discuss “DaVinci Robotic Surgery and Women’s Health, What you should
know”. Both physicians were featured on Dr. Oz in January of this year speaking on this
topic.

We welcome back Joel Schorn, Camille Tadin’s son, who will delight us with his
presentation: “A Visit to the World’s Columbian Exposition, Chicago, 1893”

interpreters of American popular song and will charm us with his seductive vocals,
engaging charisma and amazing musical knowledge.

As a teacher and performing artist, Highland Park’s own Janet Reed has been active in
the Chicago area music scene for many years. She knows the more people are interested
and involved in what they hear, the more the music comes to life. Janet’s program, “High
Hopes” is a timely musical tribute to hope and optimism

Women’s fashions are shaped, literally and figuratively, by their underclothes. Historically
with stiff corsets, sturdy hoops and bustles a woman’s frame has not always been entirely
her own. Elizabeth “Elle” Carlson, the Curator of Costumes for the Winnetka Historical
Society will present a novel presentation which unveils some myths about women’s
unmentionables.

We welcome back Letitia Suk and Pat Dinges as they present Living a Life of Legacy.
The money will be spent in no time; the heirlooms will end up on a shelf somewhere but
what will you leave that will last forever? Come and listen as you are challenged to leave an

Highland Parks’ own Bob Levi will present Opera in a Pop Culture or Where Have I Heard
That Tune? An opera enthusiast, Bob knows that most people are not aware that they have
been exposed to opera through movie soundtracks, recordings, radio, television, cartoons
and commercials. Come and enjoy as Bob demonstrates numerous examples of opera
melodies incorporated into popular culture.
